KroaKING SEASON 3 starts tonight

RULES:

for 8 wednesdays, starting 27th feb, we pick 3 people out of the entire lot that sings on the night, to get into the final stages ... (which means if u are not picked on a particular wednesday u have the opportunity of 7 more weeks to get in, though it usually gets tougher as the weeks roll by) ...

songs have to be from the database of over 8000 songs that opus possesses, unless you want to get your own backing track along. in case there is a song that u wish to sing mail us at opus@trumpit.com and send request and we will try getting it for you

every week an updated list will be sent to all and hosted on the site... when we reach 24 people we'll have a semifinal to pick 12 .. and then a final at an auditorium wherein one would be crowned Opus KroaKING...

Tatva-Kundalini (Aditya and Ankur) are a Delhi-based electronica outfit- well a lot more than just musicians two young and vibrant duo that have set up their base in Pushkar own a record label (Chill Om Records).

they specialise in ethnic-electronic progressive music played via laptops,guitars, bass,vocals,nagadas,tablas,djembes,ghatam.

Their past studio releases Raaga Lounge – The Rebirth and Cafe Sunset involved Indian folk vibes fused with new age, Ethno-Electro energy dance elements.
Their first and second music videos, "Apne Piya Ke" and "Agan Aao Balma" respectively, for the same record were on air on all of the major TV Channels. ABANDONFRIDAY: 9.00pm, 22nd feb: "Golden Boy"
"Golden Boy" is Chris, Tony, and Judy Das ( in descending order of age ). It's no coincidence that they share the same surname. They are, in fact, from the same family. They've been singing together since they were very young. Actually, the only time when there was harmony in the house was when they were singing. That's not really true, but it sounded kind of witty. Chris is the oldest of the 3. He used to sing with the prog-rock band Cryptic, and now works full-time at a BPO. He rarely performs live, but keeps his passion for music alive by writing and recording songs at home, and forcing Tony to play guitar on them.Tony is a full-time guitar player. He plays for Karma6, and Bhoomi apart from being a session player with various bands. He's ready to play guitar at any time of the day, and if you get him drunk enough, you may also get him to sing.Judy is currently freelancing as a writer. She sings in the city on a regular basis. She also trains choirs, and sings in the bathroom.They're usually a noisy bunch, but whe they get together, they play unusally mellow music. The last time that the 3 of them performed together was under the name of 'Golden Boy', at an event at Barista. They got great reviews and have therefore decided to see if they could get lucky a second time.

Douglas Bell, a musician from the U.S. will play a variety American traditional country music.
