a folk artistes' group from Kerala, consisting of lower caste traditional drummers who chose not to give up this traditional art form and continued practicing it to support their livelihood. They are percussion artists who play with traditional folk instruments and have recently experimented with Bamboo instruments made in waynanad.
They were recently covered by The Guardian, when the famous writer, Kevin Rushby was on a tour organised by The Blue Yonder. A small video podcast of the folk expression in Kerala. click here to view the video. Facilitated by Maraa, a media collective. info@maraa.in
